Bead Fest Spring

Hello!

It’s time for Bead Fest Spring in Philadelphia!  It’s a bittersweet event this year because after 10 years, the show is ending. I will be in booth 414 so stop by!  If you do plan to attend, please use the $5 admission coupon here.  If you are thinking you already have a coupon, you might want to double check.  Admission is $15 and the coupon from BeadFest directly is only $3 off, this one, below, is $10 off.  That’s more money to spend on beads!

I will be at 2 more shows this year; Bead and Button and BeadFest Fall.  Dates for these are on my Show Schedule page.  In between, you can find my work on Facebook.  I am on Facebook as Julie Miller Glass and I post in the following, auction-style, groups:

These groups are private so you will need to join first.  Please make sure you review the rules before participating.  I usually post on Wednesday evenings and through the weekend.  Check it out!

I hope to see you soon!

2016

Hello and Happy New Year!

I am hard at work in the studio getting ready for this year’s shows I can’t believe that BeadFest Spring is just 3 months away.  I can tell I’m starting to sweat the deadline when I noticed that it’s a leap year so I get an extra day.

Some of you have contacted me about my Etsy store being closed and I wanted to take a minute to explain that decision.  I have been on Etsy for nearly 10 years now (including my first shop, Jewelry by Jules) so it wasn’t an easy decision.  Between the upkeep and profitability (specifically, the lack of profitability in the past few years), I decided to expend my energies elsewhere for now.

Specifically, I am selling on Facebook in two lampwork groups; Lampwork Bead Market and Handmade Lampwork Beads for Sale.  I usually list on Wednesday or Thursday at about 8 pm EDT.

I will still be attending BeadFest Spring, Bead & Button, and BeadFest Fall.  Please check back for updates and discount coupons.  I also welcome custom orders, just let me know what you need.

Finally, given the response, I will work on posting items for sale here as well.  It won’t be on the scale of my Etsy store but perhaps a page for beads and one for finished jewelry.  Please let me know what you would like to see here.

Thank you!
